Activities

The Soča valley offers numerous possibilities of spending time actively in intact nature. Right above the hotel, a world renowned paragliding take-off Kobala (1050 m, access by road 14 km) is situated. Landing is possible on our own meadow in vicinity of the hotel.
Fishermen will find their own pool in one of nearby crystal clear rivers (Soča, Tolminka, Idrijca, Bača, Trebuščica...) which are full of autochthon Soča river trouts and Adriatic umbers and other fishes (more at http://www.flyfishing.si).
Wild Soča river rapids represent a big challenge for all rafting and kayak fans, while its calm areas between Kobarid and Tolmin offer an ideal polygon for kayak training or free family downriver descent.
Triglav national park begins in the vicinity of the paragliding take-off Kobala. You can take a trip to the Razor mountain (1317), more pretentious mountaineers and climbers can go further over Komna mountain to Triglavska jezera valley and Triglav mountain or to Krn mountain to west or Črna prst mountain to east.
You can take an easy cycle trip through the Soča river valley or take pretentious mountain bike tours along cart tracks of surrounding mountains.
Hunters will also never get bored in endless forests of southern Alpine slopes.
